Hasta La Raíz Collaboration Continues to Grow – Seeks New Partners
Hasta La Raíz, a nationwide beer and beverage collaboration formed to unite breweries to raise awareness and funds for immigrant justice continues to grow with over 60 breweries across the country now actively participating.
Founded by Jessica Salas, a longtime beer industry veteran and the daughter and granddaughter of immigrants, Hasta La Raíz exists to unite the craft beverage industry in the fight for immigrant justice and to bring together breweries across the country to raise awareness and funds for immigrant justice. In partnership with Freedom for Immigrants, the project supports efforts to end immigration detention, reunite families, and protect the dignity and humanity of people seeking a better life.
The name means “to the root” in Spanish and is “a reminder to stay grounded in who we are, where we come from, and what we stand for. Through beer, community, and shared values, we aim to spark conversations, uplift stories, and help build a more just future.”
Brewery, cidery and other beverage brands are invited to participate by making any style using the Hasta La Raíz label art (or adapt it to match your brand) and then donating a portion of proceeds to Freedom for Immigrants. There is no minimum donation or strict guidelines.
Just a few of the participating breweries include Alameda Brewing Company, Alameda, CA, Calicraft Brewing, Walnut Creek, CA, Cellarmaker Brewing, San Francisco, CA, Chuckanut Brewery, Burlington, WA, Faction Brewing, Alameda, CA, Fort Point Brewing, San Francisco, CA, Georgetown Brewing, Seattle, WA, HenHouse Brewing, Santa Rosa, CA and Urban Roots Brewing, Sacramento, CA.
